According to BuLi News, Harry Kane is set to become England's most-capped outfield player if he features against Argentina in Wednesday’s World Cup semi-final, after matching Wayne Rooney’s mark.

The Bayern Munich forward earned his 120th cap in Saturday’s 2-1 extra-time quarter-final win over Norway.

That appearance drew him level with former Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney, who retired from international football in 2018.

If the England captain plays on Wednesday, he will make his 121st appearance and move clear of Rooney.

Kane is also closing in on the overall England record held by goalkeeper Peter Shilton, who won 125 caps.
