Harry Kane to receive European Golden Shoe on 19 August | OneFootball

Bayern Munich said in a statement that 33-year-old Harry Kane has won the 2025-26 European Golden Shoe and will receive the award on 19 August.

It is the second time the Bayern striker has claimed the prize, after 2023-24, and he succeeds Kylian Mbappé.

Kane scored 36 Bundesliga goals in a prolific campaign, and 73 across last season for club and England, including 6 at the recent World Cup.

Only Messi has bettered that in the 21st century, with 82 in 2011-12 for Barcelona and Argentina.

In May he said it was a source of pride, adding that he believed only Ronaldo and Messi have won the award more than twice, with 4 and 6 respectively.

The presentation will take place at the Bayern museum.
