Roma have had the opportunity to strengthen their attack, as planned.
The Giallorossi announced Robinio Vaz, their first signing of the winter transfer window, and welcomed Donyell Malen.
New faces could also arrive in defense, and Harry Maguire could represent an opportunity for the Giallorossi.
Having arrived at Manchester United for a record €87 million, he has never proven himself worthy of the Red Devils’ outrageous fee.
At 32, he has become surplus to requirements and could soon move on: in addition to Roma, another Serie A club has also inquired about his potential.
As reported by Sky Sport, Milan and Roma are evaluating the 1993-born centre-back, but have yet to make any concrete moves.
He’s played just 457 minutes in 10 appearances this season, and a move to January isn’t out of the question.
Roma’s defence is reportedly prioritising Radu Dragusin, with whom they have an agreement in principle.
The biggest obstacle, however, is Tottenham Hotspur, who aren’t open to the Giallorossi’s offer. If Spurs don’t change their minds, the Roman club could look elsewhere.
