Harry Redknapp has been talking about Newcastle United.
The former Spurs and Bournemouth boss discussing Eddie Howe and his team ahead of this weekend.
Newcastle United hosting their third St James’ Park match in seven days..
A 3pm kick-off on Saturday afternoon.
United set to face Bournemouth.
Harry Redknapp talking to BetVictor ahead of Newcastle United playing at home against Bournemouth:
“Wow, Newcastle are absolutely flying at the minute, they might just be the form team in the country!
“I know everyone will point to the goals from the main man Alexander Isak up top but the whole team is playing so well from those two young full-backs to Bruno Guimaraes in midfield and Anthony Gordon out wide.
“Bournemouth so nearly got what would have been a fantastic win at Chelsea.
“I’m curious what they’ll do up front, they’ve obviously lost both strikers to bad injuries, you’d have thought they’d go and find an option in the window.
“I just think Newcastle at home, in this form, will be too strong.
“Prediction: Newcastle 2 Bournemouth 1”
“One to watch – How can it not be Alexander Isak?
“He’s trying to score for the ninth straight [Premier League] game! What a player.”
Can’t disagree really with anything Harry Redknapp has had to say.
Andoni Iraola confirmed earlier on Friday that at least nine Bournemouth players will be missing on Saturday.
Bournemouth are unbeaten in ten matches (won six and drawn four) in all competitions, whilst Newcastle United have won all of their last nine games in all competitions.
Eddie Howe knowing that victory over his old club would ensure Newcastle United are still in the top four after this weekend’s matches.
Whilst for Alexander Isak, can he make it nine Premier League scoring matches in a row? The striker having scored 11 goals in his last eight PL games.
