The impressive performances of Spanish-Nigerian striker Samu Omorodion Aghehowa have captured significant attention from the Premier League. A host of English clubs, including Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Nottingham Forest, are closely monitoring the 21-year-old.
Reports indicate that Omorodion features prominently on Tottenham's shortlist as they seek to bolster their attack, with his profile considered an ideal fit for their tactical system. However, a potential transfer faces a major obstacle, as his current club, FC Porto, is reportedly unwilling to part with their key striker during the January window.
The Portuguese league leaders intend to rely on him for the remainder of the season. While a summer departure is considered more plausible, it would not come cheaply. Porto has firmly set his price tag at 80 million euros and will not entertain any offers below that valuation.
