Former Blue Shaun Wright-Phillips has said he hopes Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has “learnt his lesson” in the transfer market.
The Blues have been free spending in the transfer market since the take over by Boehly and Clearlake Capital just over two years ago.
Chelsea broke the British record twice to sign Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, and have made a number of other big money signings.
As well as signing players for the first team Chelsea have also invested heavily in a number of stars for the future, many of which may never kick a ball for the club.
Chelsea are once again set to be busy this summer and have already completed the signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich for £30m.

The Blues are looking to sign a centre back, left winger and versatile attacker to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad, whilst there’s also a number of players who need to be moved on.
Chelsea could sell as many as ten players this summer, but Wright-Phillips claims they need to sell around 16, and hopes Boehly has learnt his lesson.
