Hassan believes Inbeom will quickly make his mark at Porto, praising the South Korean’s intelligence and work ethic after their spell together at Olympiacos. The former Rio Ave and Braga striker also knows Francesco Farioli from Alanyaspor and expects the midfielder to fit his ideas quickly.

"He is a good lad, a great professional, very polite and full of talent and quality. I highlight the intelligence with which he plays and moves on the pitch. The fans will like him a lot and he will adapt very quickly to Portugal, I can assure you," he told O Jogo.

Early glimpses have encouraged the Dragão crowd, with Inbeom impressing in 10 minutes against Aston Villa and 17 against Torreense. Hassan, 33, spent last season with Al Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia.

"He will find a big club where nothing will be missing. He will deliver and build on a great World Cup, in which he scored a great goal for South Korea."

"He will earn his space and I know what it takes to get space with Farioli. I loved working with him, he can convince Farioli and be an influential player in the Champions League."

"I saw sensational quality, someone great for the group who respects everyone and causes no problems," said Rodinei, who also played alongside Inbeom at Olympiacos. "On the pitch he has a tremendous long-range shot, a fantastic pass and huge intensity in everything he does."
