Hatters on a roll at home

Luton Town have joined an exclusive EFL club after extending their unbeaten home run to 10 matches across all competitions.

The Hatters reached double figures last weekend with a 2-1 comeback win over Stevenage, making them one of only six EFL sides to avoid defeat at home in 10 or more consecutive games this season.

Luton fell behind at Kenilworth Road when Lewis Freestone gave Stevenage the lead, but second-half goals from Jordan Clark and forward Gideon Kodua completed the turnaround and lifted Jack Wilshere’s side above Boro in the League One table.

Now seventh, Luton have won their last three home matches in a row, with West Ham loanee Kodua on target in each of those games. The 21-year-old has nine goals across all competitions this season.

Across the EFL, only Bolton Wanderers (14), Fleetwood Town (13), Coventry City (12), Cambridge United (11) and Watford can better — or match — Luton’s current home unbeaten run. The Hatters and the Hornets (both 10) are the only teams currently on double-digit unbeaten runs on their own patch.

For the Hatters, Kenilworth Road is quickly becoming a genuine edge.
