Walsall assistant Darren Byfield has hailed Stoke City loan star Nathan Lowe and insisted the Potters talent is always eager to improve every aspect of his game.
The 19-year-old forward is a product of the Potters youth system and he is considered a top talent at the Championship outfit.
This summer he has been sent out on his first loan spell away from Stoke as the club look for him to gain experience and he has been in sublime form.
Lowe is on a season-long loan with League Two side Walsall and has made 14-goal contributions in 18 all-competition appearances.
He came off the bench on Tuesday night and scored the last goal in Walsall’s 3-0 win over Shrewsbury Town in the EFL Trophy.
Byfield hailed the Potters loanee as a top player and revealed the teenage attacker is always keen on improving his overall game.
“Lowey is a top player, he is hungry for goals, he is hungry to improve in every aspect of his game”, the Walsall assistant told the Saddlers’ in-house media about the Stoke loanee.
“And as soon as he came on you know he is just going to try and get a goal; he wants to get goals, he wants to help the team.
“We just help him in training every day and the gaffer [Mat Sadler] has been superb with him and gave him the confidence to go out and show and express himself.”
If the teenage attacker is able to continue his current form at Walsall for the rest of the season he could have a real chance at Stoke City next season.
