Former Chelsea winger Joe Cole has been raving about one Chelsea player who he describes as ‘class’ and says he can now ‘kick on’ as a Blue.

It is always great to hear from Cole, he was one of the most entertaining players we have seen play for Chelsea over time, and he is certainly one of the best wingers the club has ever had.

So when Cole is talking about other wingers and is raving about them, you know that it is best to listen to what he is saying.

Cole has been speaking about Jadon Sancho this week, the winger who arrived from Manchester United this summer.

Sancho has started very well as a Chelsea player and is hoping to get his football career back on track and will probably be hoping to get back in the England squad as well.

Sancho has started well

Cole has been impressed with Sancho so far, and in words cited on X this week, he said:

“He [Sancho] was a Chelsea supporter as a child, he used to come and watch at Stamford Bridge, so now that he’s back home in South-West London, you’re hoping that this will factor in for him because he needs to settle in England.

“Against Bournemouth, there were some touches on the ball, and he just showed his class, so I’m hoping he can continue that and kick on as a Chelsea player this season.”

Cole as always is spot on here once again.
