Chelsea legend Petr Cech appears to me as if he’s taken a bit of a swipe towards the current owners at the club.
For me, there was certainly something that happened with Cech and the new owners. When they took over at the club, Cech was still employed there as a Technical Director. But he soon left, with not much reasoning given as to why he left.
I have a feeling, and it’s important to say this is just my opinion, that he might not have liked the direction that the club was heading in and probably didn’t get on too well with the new ownership. Either that or they just wanted to employ all their own people and move on anyone who was there before.
Either way, I don’t think it ended that well between the two, and this is why I think that recent words by Cech is possible a little dig towards them.

Čech on buying a club:
“You know, if you buy a football club, you run it the way you want, but you will be judged on how well you run it and how much you win!”
Čech on Roman Abramovich and the dressing room:
“You would never see him around the match day dressing room. He was the owner, and everyone respected it. We knew who the big boss was. Coaches were bosses of the dressing room.”
Chelsea have announced a new contract for a very promising young player in the academy in some very good news that came out.
Meanwhile, Kendry Paez is an option for Bournemouth this transfer window, with the club taking a look at the on loan Chelsea player.
