“Heading to Chelsea” – Journalist makes massive claim on Xabi Alonso future | OneFootball

One journalist has made a huge claim that former Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso ‘seems to be heading to Chelsea’.

Alonso has been strongly linked with the new Chelsea role, and he is the candidate that would excite the Chelsea fan base the most. But at this moment I don’t think any Chelsea fan has gotten too invested in it because they just don’t think that Alonso will be coming here.

Regardless of this, it seems as though Chelsea are at least trying to tempt him to Stamford Bridge this summer, and the fact that he is actually out of work right now may give them a chance.

I still don’t see it happening, but this journalist has dangled the carrot!

It was said on a YouTube show this week, but AC Milan journalist and commentator Carlo Pellegatti said:

“Xabi Alonso seems to be heading to Chelsea.”

Now, whether this is just opinion, speculation, or based on any info he has heard, we don’t know. But I wouldn’t get your hopes up too much just yet if I was you.
