Hearts will be without Cammy Devlin for next weekend’s Scottish Premiership clash against Celtic. The teams meet at Tynecastle next Sunday as Martin O’Neill looks to strike a blow against the league leaders. Derek McInnes will have to do without his key midfielder, who now faces up to eight weeks out with a lower leg injury.

The Australia international has played 27 appearances for the Jambos this season as they’ve impressed, currently leading the pack by six points. Hearts will also be without midfielder Beni Baningime, who was sent off against St Mirren for a shocking challenge.

Devlin is one of the most reliable players in McInnes’ team, often breaking up the play and covering the pitch. The 27-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and there have been some suggestions that Celtic could look at the midfielder.

Celtic are hoping to add quality to the squad for the game given the importance of the fixture. MON has said that he wants to bring two strikers in along with a number of different areas identified requiring support.
