Serie A title contenders Inter Milan sneaked into the win column in yesterday’s nerve-wracking away clash against Hellas Verona.
According to Tuttosport via FCinterNews, the Nerazzurri required a bit of luck to post their seventh league win under Cristian Chivu.
Indeed, Martin Frese’s sloppy own goal in the 92nd minute propelled the San Siro giants to a dramatic 2-1 victory at Marc’Antonio Bentegodi.
However, it’s worth noting that Chivu’s side suffered a lot, partly due to the 45-year-old’s decision to shuffle his starting lineup.

Despite being handed a rare chance to prove his worth, Luis Henrique failed to impress on the right wing.
Therefore, Chivu took him off early in the second half, introducing Denzel Dumfries.
Yet, Inter continued to struggle against a stubborn Verona side, who fought tooth and nail to protect a 1-1 scoreline.
Still, after a string of unfortunate events against Juventus and Napoli, Inter managed to grind out a precious victory.
At last, the Nerazzurri found themselves on the right side of fortune.
