Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Roberto Gagliardini will be doing personalised training at first as they recover from injuries, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by Tuttosport today, Simone Inzaghi has got his wish of starting pre-season with a squad that presumably looks very similar to the one he will have when the transfer window has closed.
Two of his midfielders will not be training immediately with the entire squad at Appiano Gentile. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is doing his own training program because he suffered an injury in the Europa Conference League final with AS Roma.
As well as him, Roberto Gagliardini is also recovering from an injury that was sustained at the end of last season. In his case it was a fracture to his left foot. His return will take longer than the Armenian midfielder.
The likes of Raoul Bellanova, Kristjan Asllani and Andre Onana will be with the team.
