But for Henry, the Frenchman’s qualities go far beyond statistics: “He’s a coach’s dream. I had the opportunity to coach him—he doesn’t just play the game, he thinks the game. That’s what sets him apart from the rest, in my opinion.”

The special connection between Henry and Olise is no coincidence.

The former Arsenal star coached France at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and worked closely with Olise there. Together, the French team reached the final and won the silver medal.

Even back then, Olise was considered one of the standout players of the tournament.

Shortly thereafter, he moved from Crystal Palace to FC Bayern—a transfer that has since proven to be an absolute home run from Munich’s perspective.
