Heracles have announced that former Eintracht Braunschweig winger Walid Ould-Chikh has left to club for Kuwait. Ould-Chikh has joined Al-Arabi SC on loan for the remainder of the season, with a purchase option having been included in the deal. Ould-Chikh, when fit, had been a key player for Heracles despite their relegation last season. However, with the side now in the second tier, Ould-Chikh has opted to move to Kuwait instead of remaining in the Dutch league.
Ould-Chikh began his career with USV Hercules before joining the FC Volendam set up. The winger went on the play 55 games for the Volendam first team, scoring three goals. His best season came away from Volendam when he joined Roda on loan for the 2023/2024 season. He played 40 games for Roda, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists. This prompted a move to Eintracht Braunschweig, yet this only lasted one season. After only nine games for the German side, Ould-Chikh returned to Dutch football with Heracles. During the sides relegation campaign he played 27 games, with two goals and five assists.
