The coming summer will be a big one for Real Madrid, especially in terms of the new signings and possible administrative changes that will take place.

As relayed earlier this week, one of the ideas that has crossed the minds of Florentino Perez and Co. is reincorporating Toni Kroos into the club in some capacity.

Real Madrid were hit hard by the German’s departure from the club as a player, but see serious merit in hiring him back in a different role, one where he can play a part in the administrative chain as well.

The best-suited role

Indeed, it is still undecided as to what Kroos’ role will be if he does return to the club of his life. However, Defensa Central brings forth the profile of a vacancy that perfectly suits his strengths.

Ever since he retired, the World Cup winner has been focused on his academy where he trains children at the grassroots level and even works as a coach to guide them.

Real Madrid value this ability and don’t see any reason why Kroos cannot carry on the same mission as part of Real Madrid’s academy as well. His role, thus, could directly involve coaching young players in La Fabrica.

As one of the players with the best understanding of the game in recent times, Kroos is a wonderful tactician and Los Blancos see merit in him possibly rising up the ranks as a manager.

Beyond that, however, there is a proposition that he can serve as the bridge between the academy and the first team to help filter, develop, and promote talents who are the creme-de-la-creme of their batches.

He could be one to spot young talents in the academy, nurture them, and plan their progression across levels, eventually to prepare them for the elite level with the first team.
