Manchester United and Barcelona have finalised a deal for the imminent transfer of Marcus Rashford, as per Fabrizio Romano.
It comes after David Ornstein verified this afternoon that the two clubs’ negotiations had advanced and were essentially at the final stages. Now, an agreement has been reached.

Rashford will join the La Liga champions on loan for the entirety of the 2025/2026 campaign, after which Barcelona will have the option of making his move permanent.
He is poised to travel to Spain in the coming days to undergo his medical tests before putting pen to paper on his 12-month contract, with United giving their full authorisation for the switch to be completed as swiftly as possible.
The 27-year-old has not played for United since December 2024 when he clashed with Ruben Amorim and was exiled from the first-team. He was sent on loan to Aston Villa in January and proceeded to enjoy a revived run of form, scoring four goals and six assists in the 17 appearances he made.
Yet, both he and the Midlands outfit opted against a long-term deal being discussed, meaning he returned to Manchester upon the culmination of his spell, where he has since been keeping up his fitness levels at Carrington after Amorim and the rest of the squad have left the training complex.
Assuming the England international has indeed played his final game for the Reds, he’ll leave with 426 appearances to his name, as well as 138 goals and 77 assists.
He joined United at the age of seven and worked his way through the academy ranks to eventually play an integral role in the senior squad. The No.10 that Rashford has occupied for the last seven years has since been granted to summer signing Matheus Cunha.
