Newcastle 2 Fulham 1 – Saturday 25 October 2025 3pm

The photo that Newcastle United fans had all really really wanted to see on Saturday!

OneFootball Videos

A match where United had to battle and in the end deserved the victory.

Fulham made it a tough game and whilst Newcastle United had comfortably more clear chances, the clock ticked onto 90 minutes with the game level at 1-1. Murphy having caught Bassey in possession and finished well, only for Lukic to equalise when a superb save from Pope saw the ball then hit the woodwork and drop kindly for the Fulham player to get a touch on the line just ahead of Botman.

The subs helped make the difference for sure and Will Osula the fifth of five to come on.

Leno only able to parry the Dane’s strike and Captain Bruno buried the winner.

A winning snapshot post-match.

The all important winning photo =  The sixth of the season.

The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.

It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.

‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’

I absolutely love it.

At least 36 more games to go this season in all competitions, so hopefully a fair few more of these photos to come.
