Ángel Alarcón has been pointed out by FC Porto to fill the spot of Nehuén Pérez in the list of players registered for the Europa League, according to the newspaper A Bola. The same publication states that the dragons will resort to the new UEFA rule that allows replacing a player with a long-term injury or illness.

Nehuén Pérez suffered a serious injury and faces a long recovery period. Thus, FC Porto is preparing to register Ángel Alarcón and will soon submit a formal request to UEFA, waiting only for the approval of the organization.
