Liverpool did the hard work early against Porto at Anfield as they picked up a relatively comfortable victory.
Who deserves praise and who will want to move on quickly?
‘Bobby’ Firmino lives for these big Champions League nights as his consistently quality performances in Europe will attest to.
But he loves it even more at home as in his last 11 European games at Anfield, he has been involved in an impressive 12 goals and gave the supporters more to cheer again.
While no Porto player was a particular standout for their struggles, the unfortunate Óliver Torres has to get the nod.
It was his despairing dive which unintentionally deflected Naby Keïta’s early strike into the net, a moment Porto never recovered from.
