Hertha Berlin have confirmed that Myziane Maolida is on his way to France, where he will have discussions with Stade Reims.
The 23-year-old French native moved to Berling from OSG Nice in 2021. However, Maolida has struggled for playing time and hasn’t been successful in securing a permanent spot in the starting 11.
The forward has only featured a handful of times for Hertha and scored just one goal.
A former France youth international, Maolida has failed to live up to expectations. A move back to France seems like the best option for every party. At just 23, there is still time for Maolida to truly kickstart his career.
Reims are currently 11th in Ligue 1 and managed by Will Still. The half-English, half-Belgian coach has Reims on an unbeaten streak at the minute and looking like a solid top-flight side. Still is yet to receive his professional coaching license and as a result, the club are being fined for every match he manages.
