It’s been officially confirmed that Hervé Renard has left his role as the head coach of the France women’s team.
Les Bleues disappointed in their Olympic outing on home soil, losing in the quarter-final to Brazil by a 1-0 scoreline.
That means France are looking for their third boss in quick succession, with Corinne Diacre leaving after the 2023 World Cup.
Renard has had an eclectic managerial career, having last managed Saudi Arabia and Morocco before that.
