Hernan Cristante has been named new coach of Toluca.
The Argentine replaces caretaker coach Carlos Adrián Morales, who stepped in after the departure of José Manuel de la Torre.
Toluca announced the appointment of Cristante via social media yesterday. It marks a return for Cristante, 51, who previously coached los Diablos Rojos between 2016-2019.
He reached the finals of Copa MX and Liga MX in the Clausura of 2018, but lost in both.
Former Argentina goalkeeper Cristante had stayed out of football after his departure from Toluca last year.
