The agent of Barcelona youngster Vitor Roque has this week urged the brass in Catalunya’s capital to sanction a move for another of Brazil’s next up-and-coming young talents.

The player in question? Messinho.

Estêvão Willian, more commonly referred to as Messinho in his home country, has long been turning heads across not only Spain, but all of Europe.

As much comes with the attacker, still just 16 years of age, already considered to be the next breakout star of Brazilian football.

A teammate of Real Madrid-bound Endrick at Palmeiras, the winger’s exploits at youth level have proven enough to see him make the step up to senior football with Abel Fereira’s squad.

Messinho is also an underage international with Brazil, boasting a record of three goals in five appearances for the Seleção’s U17s.

And, as alluded to above, one individual of the opinion that such exploits should already have proven enough to convince Barcelona to move for his signature, comes in the form of Andre Cury.

Speaking in an interview with RAC1, as cited by Diario Sport, this week, Cury, the representative of current Barca starlet Vitor Roque, revealed his take that Messinho boasts all of the required abilities to develop into ‘the new Neymar’:

“Vitor Roque is a complete player, players like Romario and Rivaldo say so. The ‘9’ position at Barça is very well occupied. Barça does not have to worry about Endrick. My opinion is that they have to think about signing Messinho , because he would give the Culers a lot of joy along with Vitor. I bet on him, because he is the new Neymar.”
