Hibernian interested in former Clermont midfielder Yohann Magnin | OneFootball

Yohann Mignan (28) has spent the entirety of his career at Clermont Foot, however, he left his formative club upon the expiry of his contract at the end of the season.

The defensive midfielder is therefore on the lookout for a new club, having left the Ligue 2 outfit. There are a few suitors for the Frenchman. Magnin has been in contact with Nuremberg, as well as Scottish side Hibernian, according to a report from L’Équipe. There is also interest in his native France, however, the specific clubs have not been named by the publication, whilst there is also interest from a second division side in Spain.

Magnin would bring a wealth of experience. The defensive midfielder has 93 appearances in Ligue 1 and a further 90 in Ligue 2. Across his career, he has netted six goals in France’s top two divisions, whilst also registering four assists during that time.
