Gianluigi Donnarumma is the Premier League’s best paid goalkeeper on £250,000 per week for 2025/26. According to Hounslow Herald, Manchester City’s Italian heads a reshaped pay order.
He joined from Paris Saint-Germain in summer 2025 for approximately £26 million, inheriting the gloves from Ederson. At 26, he is the highest paid in Premier League history and central to Pep Guardiola’s build-up.
Behind him, Arsenal’s David Raya and Liverpool’s Alisson Becker each earn £150,000 per week. Raya agreed a contract extension in summer 2025 after back-to-back Golden Glove seasons, a 50% rise that rewarded his ball-playing impact.
Alisson, now 33, has underpinned Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp and Arne Slot, with a £7.8 million annual wage viewed as value. His clean sheet ratio is nearly 42% and his deal runs until 2027.
Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martínez is also on £150,000 per week, his World Cup winner premium reflecting his influence since 2022. His latest terms place him alongside the elite, in line with Villa’s Champions League ambitions.
Fulham’s Bernd Leno earns £130,000 per week as the club protect a top shot-stopper. His goals prevented numbers rank near the top and underpin their Premier League stability.
Elsewhere, Jordan Pickford is on £125,000 at Everton and is contracted until 2027. Alphonse Areola at West Ham and Aaron Ramsdale at Newcastle are on £120,000, with Newcastle covering Ramsdale’s wages, while André Onana earns £120,000 at Manchester United and Dean Henderson £100,000 at Crystal Palace.
