Bayern against Leipzig in the Telekom Cup

The Telekom Cup will take place at the Allianz Arena in Munich on 15 August. FC Bayern will play a friendly match against RB Leipzig there on 15 August as part of their preparations for the 2026/27 season. The match kicks off at 3:30 p.m. This is a real endurance test two weeks before the Bundesliga starts the new season, even though Bayern won both matches against Leipzig in the league in 2025/26

The record champions also announced that tickets for the match are already available to buy on their website. This match will take place after FC Bayern’s return from the Audi Summer Tour, a trip to South Korea and Hong Kong

As part of this tour, FCB will play two friendly matches: in South Korea against Jeju SK FC (4 August) and then three days later in Hong Kong against Aston Villa. The match against the Premier League club in particular can also be seen as a kind of endurance test, in which some youngsters may be able to show themselves before the established stars return.
