Despite the recent arrival of Ozan Kabak, Hoffenheim are still pursuing defensive arrivals, according to Kicker.

This would be even more concrete should Stefan Posch (25), who has interest from Premier League side Wolves, leave the club. Hoffenheim would command a fee of around €10m for the Austrian defender, who has two-years remaining on his current TSG deal.

. Kasim Adams has joined Swiss side Basel on a season-long loan. Should Posch leave for England, then it’s quite possible that Hoffenheim could yet sign a further two central-defenders.

“We will definitely keep our eyes and ears open,” said head coach André Breitenreiter.

It’s also possible that David Raum (24) could leave Hoffenheim with RB Leipzig actively pursuing the Germany international left-back. Raum also had interest from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, as well as interest from the Premier League, but it appears that Leipzig have leapfrogged several clubs.
