Hoffenheim sporting director admits talks are underway for Barcelona target | OneFootball

Among these names is the Kosovar striker Fisnik Asllani, who, with his 11 goals and 10 assists in 35 games, emerged as one of the most exciting attacking talents in Germany last season.

In fact, as Mundo Deportivo has noted, the sporting director of his current club, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, admitted that talks are underway for their star forward.

The official, Andreas Schicker, made the following comments regarding Asllani:

“We’re in talks with clubs both in Germany and abroad. It’s no secret that Fisnik Asllani has a release clause.”

Some outlets in Germany are interpreting these comments as Hoffenheim accepting that they may lose the striker this summer, and from the official’s comments, it seems that Asllani’s future would be resolved in the coming few weeks.

In fact, some recent reports suggested that he was very close to completing a move to the Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund. However, with reports of Paris Saint-Germain’s push for Ferran Torres, he has put these negotiations on hold, as he wants to see how the situation unfolds at Barcelona.
