Rasmus Hojlund has claimed that he expects to play for Manchester United in the 2025-26 season, but several sources in Italy insist that the Dane is open to returning to Serie A, with Inter strongly interested.
Manchester United striker Hojlund, a former Atalanta star, has said he expects to play for the Red Devils next season.

“I have a contract until 2030, so I expect to play for Manchester United,” Hojlund told Danish publication Bold via Manchester Evening News.
“I’m looking forward to going on a summer vacation, and then I’m fully dedicated to the project that’s underway.”
According to Gazzetta, however, Hojlund’s agents have given the green light to a move to Inter this summer, so the Nerazzurri have opened preliminary talks with the Red Devils.
According to the report, Manchester United are looking for a permanent sale or a loan deal with an obligation to buy at €45m.

Inter, on the other hand, work to secure a deal for a loan with an option to buy, and Hojlund’s willingness to join the Nerazzurri could help them in negotiations.
Football Italia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà reported last week that Hojlund had attracted interest from Serie A clubs, including Inter, and was unhappy with his lack of playing time at Old Trafford.
Inter remain in talks with Parma for their striker, Ange-Yoan Bonny, as they plan to reshuffle the attack, selling the likes of Mehdi Taremi and Joaquin Correa, while Marko Arnautovic has just confirmed his exit after the end of his contract in June.
