In the 2025/26 Serie A season, which ended on May 24, AC Milan performed better away from home than at San Siro, collecting 38 points on the road compared to 32 at home, for a total of 70 league points. The biggest difference was in defence. Away from home, AC Milan conceded just 14 goals, while at San Siro they conceded 21. At home, they suffered five defeats (against Cremonese, Parma, Udinese, Atalanta and Cagliari), compared to three losses away (against Lazio, Napoli and Sassuolo). Even in attack, they were more effective on their travels, scoring 28 goals away from home compared to 25 at San Siro.
In particular, AC Milan’s struggles at San Siro became clear in the final two months of the season. In April and May 2026, they failed to win any home games, with their only victories during that period coming away from home. In the last eight league matches, their form was heavily split between home and away. At San Siro, they went four games without a win, with one draw and three defeats. By contrast, their only positive results in that stretch came on the road, with a 1-0 win in Verona and a 2-1 victory in Genoa.
