How and where to watch the reserve Superclásico

The 2026 Proyección Apertura Tournament brings us one of the most anticipated matchups: a new edition of the reserve Superclásico. Boca, under head coach Mariano Herrón, will host River on matchday 10.

The match will be played this Wednesday, April 22, starting at 8:00 PM at the Ezeiza training ground. El Xeneize heads into this clash in great form: it leads Zone B of the tournament with 20 points from 9 matches played (with 6 wins, 2 draws, and 1 loss), and will look to stay at the top against its archrival.

Members of all categories who wish to attend will be able to enter the Ezeiza training ground by presenting their membership card and ID at the entrance. However, for all fans who cannot make it, the match will have an official live broadcast through the LPF Play platform.

How to watch the Superclásico on LPF Play

Step 1 – Choose where to watch the match from

From a desktop or laptop: open your internet browser and go to lpfplay.com
From a cellphone: For Android phones, open the Play Store, search for the app called “LPF Play,” and install it. For iPhones, search for “LPF Play” in the App Store and install it.
From a Smart TV: open the app store, search for “LPF Play,” and install the app. It can also be found on devices such as Apple TV or Chromecast connected to the TV. If the app does not appear in the TV’s app store, it likely is not supported. In that case, you can use an external device or choose other options such as connecting your laptop to the TV via HDMI cable.

Step 2 – Select the category Once inside the platform, you must choose in the main menu the category corresponding to the match you want to watch, which in this case is the Proyección Tournament (the platform also broadcasts Primera Nacional, Primera B, and the Women’s Championship there). Depending on the device used (Web, cellphone, or Smart TV), this menu can be found at the top or on the sides of the screen.

Step 3 – Choose the match and hit Play You must look for the Boca vs. River match in the content strip called “Live.” Once you select it, you will enter the match information screen. Finally, just click the “watch event” button and the Superclásico will begin to play.

In addition, the match can be followed live minute by minute on La Número 12, as always when the reserve team plays, with exclusive content on social media as well as on the website.
