FC Barcelona will be taking on Real Betis away from home in their next La Liga fixture. Both teams are among the strongest sides in La Liga right now, and will be looking to win all three points from this game with their attacking philosophies backing them up.
Fortunately for Hansi Flick, he should have most of his starting players available for this big clash and will be able to count on them to deliver in this game. Here is how Barcelona could line up against Manuel Pellegrini’s Betis side.
Goalkeeper: Joan Garcia
The Spaniard remains a true last line of defense for Barça, and he possesses a high enough quality that he can bail them out in crucial situations.
Right-back: Jules Kounde
When it comes to the French defender, he has been a bit inconsistent in terms of the performances that he has put on display. However, if he can permanently sort himself out, he remains a great asset for Barça.
Centre-back: Pau Cubarsi
The young Spaniard often sees things that others are unable to on the pitch, and that ability allows him to be a valuable addition to the team whenever he plays for Barcelona.
Centre-back: Gerard Martin
With Gerard Martin starting against Atletico Madrid in a crucial game, it seems clear that Flick trusts him enough to use him as a left-sided centre-back more often now.
Left-back: Alejandro Balde
There are few left-backs in world football who offer more flair and danger on the left flank than Alejandro Balde. Having him at his best would be a great benefit for Hansi Flick and Barcelona in this big game.
CDM: Frenkie de Jong
The Dutchman had been unavailable recently, but with him back, it would make sense for Hansi Flick to start him alongside Pedri in midfield.
CDM: Pedri
With Pedri back, Barcelona are much more comfortable in possession again and are dominating games with ease.
RAM: Lamine Yamal
There is simply no ceiling when it comes to Lamine Yamal and his outrageous talents, and with the right players around him, he can work wonders against any side in the world.
CAM: Raphinha
The Brazilian offers both intensity and precision in attack, and that is exactly what Barça had been missing without him. With him there, the team just functions a whole lot better.
LAM: Marcus Rashford
Brought some late energy into the game against Atletico Madrid, and with Dani Olmo injured and Fermin Lopez having just returned from injury, it might not be shocking to see him and Raphinha start together.
Centre-forward: Robert Lewandowski
Frustrating in his last game, but Robert Lewandowski is still a match-winner on his day. Seeing him start this game would not be a surprise.
