Leeds United’s opening five Premier League fixtures have been assessed for difficulty using Opta’s power rankings, setting their start against the rest of the division.
Daniel Farke’s side begin at Nottingham Forest on 22 August, then host Brentford at Elland Road the following weekend. Three of their first five are at home.
The model rates teams from zero to 100. On that scale, champions Arsenal are 100 while Hull City are 82.2.
The list begins with Manchester United at an average opponent rating of 89.3, followed by Newcastle United on 89.9 and Liverpool on 90.7. Brentford, Crystal Palace and Everton are each at 90.8.
Among the early schedules, Manchester United face Hull away, Ipswich at home, Everton away, Manchester City at home and Fulham away inside their first five.
