Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is set to leave the club at the end of the season, bringing an end to an illustrious career at the Premier League. The Egyptian leaves after becoming their all-time top Premier League goal scorer and winning multiple major trophies.
If Jurgen Klopp’s exit hit Liverpool fans hard, Salah’s exit will hit even harder.
Naturally, the focus is now shifting on Liverpool transfer targets in the market and who they will consider to bring in as Salah’s replacement.
In recent weeks, the Reds have been linked with number of wingers in the market. Some of them look attainable while some of them are dream targets.
The likes of Anthony Gordon of Newcastle United and Michael Olise of Bayern Munich have been mentioned in the media.
However, Romano has come up with the latest update on possible Salah replacements.
He said on his Youtube channel:
“Liverpool will go for wingers in the summer, could be one, could be two, depends on the opportunities, but they will go for wingers. Liverpool will be smart, of course, Champions League football or not will be important for the investment, so we have to understand.
“But for sure Liverpool are targeting wingers. Expect them to be active. There are several players they are monitoring, in terms of names I will tell you more soon. I think today it’s correct we dedicate this update and this video to Mohamed Salah, this moment to Mohamed Salah, because he’s a legend of the game.
“But the impact of this is going in two directions: Liverpool will buy one or two wingers in the transfer window and they will be really active, and Mohamed Salah now ready to assess proposals and try something different.”

Salah is arguably the greatest signing in the club’s history, considering how much the club paid for him and the impact he made at the club.
Finding his replacement in the market will not be easy by any means. How do you just go out and suddenly replace a player like Salah who scores goals, provides assists and creates the impact that he usually does?
It is going to be another busy summer for Liverpool at the end of the season. Just like last summer when players like Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekititke and others arrived at the club, this summer promises to be similar.
They could go out in the market to replace Arne Slot, say goodbye to another legend in Andy Robertson, lose Ibrahima Konate as a free agent.
