Plymouth Argyle have revealed how many supporters will be following the Pilgrims at Reading this Saturday
Plymouth Argyle are set to be backed by an impressive number of travelling supporters when they face Reading in Berkshire this Saturday.
The Pilgrims' trip to the Royals marks an important occasion in the League One fixture list, as both sides are vying to book their spot in the play-offs.
Argyle currently sit 10th in the third tier, just three points adrift of the top six following Tuesday night's 3-0 win at Wigan Athletic, whereas Reading are seventh despite a 1-0 defeat to Mansfield Town last time out.
The Royals are just one point behind sixth-place Huddersfield Town, who have managed just two wins in their last five attempts.

Plymouth have propelled themselves into play-off contention with four wins in their last five league games, including an impressive 5-2 triumph over title challengers Cardiff City.
Meanwhile, Saturday's opponents, Reading, enjoyed successive victories over fellow play-off hopefuls Bradford City and Luton Town before being beaten by Mansfield on Tuesday.
Argyle posted on X on Thursday: "2,900 Greens head to Reading on Saturday, for a massive League One clash!"
In their last meeting, the Pilgrims were thrashed 4-1 by the Royals at Home Park on Boxing Day, as Joe Ralls' early red card proved detrimental for Tom Cleverley's men.
That defeat left Plymouth 20th in League One, just one point clear of the relegation zone.
Cleverley has successfully steered Argyle away from the threat of relegation to League Two and has reignited their chances of securing an immediate return to the Championship.

Plymouth won the League One title in 2023 and went on to spend both of the next two seasons in the Championship, so their ambition at the start of the campaign was to seal a second-tier return.
However, midway through the season, the Devon outfit appeared more likely to suffer relegation to League Two than to finish in a League One play-off spot.
The Pilgrims failed to win any of their games that fell between a 4-0 win over Burton Albion on 27 September and a 1-0 victory at Port Vale on 22 November.
That winless run of seven matches across all competitions highlighted their struggles under Cleverley earlier in the season.
Cleverley arrived at Plymouth with a largely strong managerial reputation, thanks to his previous performances with Watford in the Championship.
However, until a positive run of results at the turn of the year, Argyle were in danger of being sucked into the relegation battle.
Ambitious third-tier rivals such as Huddersfield and Reading, who are both now rivalling Plymouth in the League One play-off race, have both changed their managers this term.
Meanwhile, the Pilgrims are reaping the benefits of sticking by Cleverley, and will likely occupy a top-six spot by the end of the month if they win their upcoming fixtures against the Royals, Stevenage, and the Terriers.
Cleverley's men see the month out with a trip to Bradford before facing Bolton Wanderers and Barnsley on Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively.
