Patrick Agyemang joined Derby County last summer in a £7m deal
Derby County value summer signing Patrick Agyemang at over £20 million after a promising first campaign with the club.
According to The Telegraph, the Rams believe that the striker is now worth triple the amount paid to sign him in the transfer window last year.
The 25-year-old arrived at Pride Park from Charlotte FC in a deal worth £7 million following his six goals from 16 appearances in the 2025 MLS season.
And he has hit the ground running in the Championship under John Eustace, playing a key role in their contention for a play-off place.
Agyemang has contributed nine goals and three assists from 26 appearances in the second division, with only Carlton Morris scoring more frequently for Derby this campaign.

Derby have placed a valuation of over £20 million on Agyemang as they brace for potential summer transfer interest.
The 25-year-old has impressed during his spell at Pride Park so far, and it’s believed that he is a tentpole feature of the Championship side’s model of buying players with potential and selling them for a big profit.
The Derbyshire outfit are already expecting transfer interest in the USMNT international in the summer, but it will take three times what it cost to sign him in order to convince the club to cash in.
Leeds United and Crystal Palace were both already linked with a deal for Agyemang during the January transfer window, but a move failed to materialise.
Eustace will be pleased to have kept the American given Derby’s pursuit of a play-off place this season.
The Rams are currently seventh in the second division table, just two points behind sixth place Wrexham with 16 games still to be played.
Next up for Derby is a home clash against fourth place Ipswich Town on 7 February in a 12.31pm kick-off.

If Derby don’t earn promotion this season, then a £20 million valuation would be a fair price tag for the club to put on the forward.
He has a contract until the summer of 2029, so the Rams are not in a position where they need to sell.
Agyemang has had a strong first year in English football, and he is also still only 25, so he has room to improve further.
