La Liga giants Barcelona have agreed on the inclusion of a buyback clause in the sale of Ansu Fati.

This comes after Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco agreed to meet the demands of the Camp Nou brass to make the attacker’s signing a permanent one.

Wide-man Ansu is for his part fresh off something of a bounce-back season in France.

After linking up with the aforementioned Monaco on a temporary basis, the 23-year-old went on to rack up 30 appearances in all competitions. And along the way, despite over half of his outings having come from the bench, Ansu found the net on a more than respectable 12 occasions.

Those in a position of power at the Stade Louis II therefore made the call to activate their option to bring the Spaniard in on a full-time basis.

And as alluded to above, during talks to iron out the final details of the deal, Barcelona secured for themselves a buyback clause.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘Barça retain a €29 million buy-back option stipulated in the contract, although a percentage of any future sale is also a possibility.’
