The on-loan forward's future at either Hull or Leeds has continuously been debated
Hull City's impressive performances in the Championship this season have taken a hit in recent outings, but the Tigers are still firmly in the hunt for promotion as the season edges closer to the run-in.
Sergej Jakirovic's side have often been the subject of praise this season for their consistency, which has allowed them to spend a long period of the campaign inside the second tier's play-off places, and, at times, extremely close to the automatic promotion places which are currently occupied by Coventry City and Middlesbrough.
That is despite the well-documented fact that City were hit with a two-window transfer fee restriction just weeks into the Bosnian's tenure at the MKM Stadium, after he had previously maintained Kayserispor's status in the Turkish Süper Lig whilst also working under strict limitations.
Given that Hull had only survived the drop into League One on goal difference on the final day of last season, there was an understandable worry regarding which players the club would be able to attract amid the restrictions, But, Jakirovic, owner Acun Ilicali, sporting director Jared Dublin and head of recruitment, Martin Hodge, have earned plenty of credit on that front as the Tigers are still in a strong position to earn a first play-off finish at this level for 10 years.
Oli McBurnie has been the standout recruit, but the return of Leeds United loanee, Joe Gelhardt, certainly runs that particular deal close.
And, with the Liverpudlian's long-term future in HU3 or LS11 continuing to generate plenty of discourse, Football League World have looked at the salary he is ESTIMATED to currently be collecting.

After barely featuring for Leeds under the management of Daniel Farke, the £1m signing from Wigan Athletic in 2020 enjoyed a fine 20-game period in East Yorkshire last term, where his five goals were crucial in City's survival under Ruben Selles.
Unsurprisingly, the aforementioned transfer restrictions, as well as a wage hike in his Elland Road contract due to the Whites' Championship-winning campaign initially jeopardised the chances of Gelhardt returning to HU3 for a second loan stint.
Despite facing competition from Middlesbrough, City were able to complete a deal on the opening day of the season for the attacker to return, and he has since gone on to hit double-figures in a campaign for the very first time.
It has been widely reported that the Tigers are hopeful of striking a permanent deal, despite claims that United valued the man who is under contract with them until 2027 at £8m last summer. Now, the aforementioned Dublin has laid out the permutations which may need to be realised in order for the 23-year-old to become a permanent figure in Jakirovic's squad.
"Division being probably the most important, and with Joffy (Gelhardt) in particular, where Leeds are, should they maintain Premier League status or come down, so there's loads of moving parts," he said when asked about making the club's current loan deals permanent.
"On the Joffy one, it's very clear. I've been very vocal, the chairman, the gaffer, Joffy knows how much we love him, how much we value him, how much we would love for him to continue his Hull City story. That's case closed on that one. We'll see what happens.
"We want to get to the stage where we have continuity in the group. We're not just a revolving door of players in and out and trying to find chemistry and trying to find relationships, hopefully bringing some back as we did with Joffy would help, whether that's permanent or a loan, we'll see come summer," Dublin added.

As previously mentioned, Gelhardt is currently contracted to Leeds until the summer of 2027, having signed his most recent extension in August 2022 under Jesse Marsch.
Although he previously made 35 Premier League appearances for the club, his future still remains up in the air despite his fine form for the Tigers in their promotion bid.
According to Capology - a site which ESTIMATES player earnings and specific contract details - the former England youth international is currently taking home a salary of £15,000 per week, and that has been the case for the past three-and-a-half years.
Despite his key influence on Jakirovic's team, Gelhardt is said to have seven teammates who are collecting a higher salary at the MKM in the form of John Lundstram, Ryan Giles, Amir Hadziahmetovic, Oli McBurnie, Semi Ajayi, John Egan and Matt Crooks, whilst he reportedly earns the same figure as Eliot Matazo, Kieran Dowell, Liam Millar and David Akintola.
