Filip Kostic is on the verge of joining Fenerbahce on loan from Juventus, allowing the Old Lady to save over €3m from the winger’s annual wages.
Juventus and Fenerbahce have reached an agreement over Kostic’s move to Turkey on loan.
On Sunday, the Turkish side confirmed the agreement with Juventus, saying that the transfer is subject to medical tests that Kostic will undergo in Turkey.
According to Calciomercato.com, it’s a dry loan deal, so the Turkish side do not have an option to purchase the Serbia international permanently at the end of the season.
However, José Mourinho’s side will pay Kostic’s €2.5m net salary, allowing Juventus to save €3.3m gross.
Kostic was not part of Thiago Motta’s plans and had been training separately since the start of the pre-season in Turin.
He has played 87 games for Juventus, scoring three goals and providing 15 assists. His contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in June 2026.
