An insight into the massive financial demands laid out by German champions Bayern Munich for the signing of Michael Olise has been provided on Friday.
This of course comes amid the ongoing speculation linking the Frenchman with a move to La Liga with Real Madrid.
The brass at the Bernabéu are understood to have set their sights firmly on Olise with a view to the 2026/27 campaign. Desperate to add proven world-class ability to the playing squad in Spain’s capital following another trophyless season last time out, the former Crystal Palace man is considered the perfect profile.
Bayern Munich have to this point made clear that they are in no way open to a sale this summer, desperate to keep hold of the club’s Player of the Season.
But as alluded to above, in the case of Real Madrid reaching a certain figure, this stance could well be altered.
As per a report from French outlet L’Équipe:
‘To lure him away from Bayern Munich, where he is under contract until June 2029, Real Madrid would have to send an offer of between €200 and €250 million.’
It now remains to be seen whether or not Florentino Pérez and his board are willing to meet such massive financial demands.
