Wolves could bank a significant windfall if former defender Bastien Meupiyou moves on this summer.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, Borussia Dortmund have tabled an offer worth up to £14.7 million, comprising an initial £10.4 million plus £4.3 million in add-ons.
Meupiyou, 20, joined Wolves in 2024 for around £4.2 million from Nantes, but did not make a first-team appearance before leaving last summer for Portuguese side Alverca.
He has since become a regular at centre-back, helping the newly promoted club achieve a mid-table finish in the Portuguese top flight.
Alverca are bracing for bids and expect he could become their record sale, overtaking the £7 million secured when Alex Amorim joined Genoa in January.
Wolves hold a buy-back clause for a small fee, although they are not expected to activate it.
The sell-on agreed when he left Wolves means they would first recoup the £4.2 million they paid, then receive 50 percent of any profit. If Dortmund’s bid is accepted, they could take up to £7.3 million from the initial fee, plus a further £2.1 million should the add-ons be triggered.
