Juventus are losing the direct race to sign Zion Suzuki, with PSG now in a stronger position to secure the Japan goalkeeper. The French club are better placed to meet Parma’s asking price, which is set at 33 million euros this summer.

Juventus cannot match that valuation, or come close to it, and the Bianconeri are instead exploring alternative ways to bring the goalkeeper to the club. Although they remain interested in adding him to their squad, completing a permanent transfer from Parma is not considered possible unless the financial terms become more favourable.

Juventus remain interested

Despite PSG emerging as the favourites, Juventus have not given up hope of eventually having Suzuki in their squad. Their current strategy is based on the possibility that circumstances could still allow the goalkeeper to spend the season in Turin, even if he first completes a move to the French champions.

According to Sport Mediaset, both clubs are in discussions, but PSG cannot guarantee Suzuki regular playing time this season. As a result, there is a possibility that the Parisians could send him on loan to Juventus for the current campaign if they complete his signing from Parma.

Loan move could benefit all parties

A temporary move could prove beneficial for everyone involved. Suzuki would have a stronger opportunity to play regularly at Juventus, while PSG could allow him to continue his development through consistent first-team football rather than spending the campaign as a reserve goalkeeper.

The report also notes that Luciano Spalletti appreciates the goalkeeper, and a loan spell with Juventus would likely provide him with more than enough opportunities to gain valuable competitive experience. In Paris, his chances of regular appearances would be far more limited because he would be expected to serve as a backup option.

For the moment, however, PSG must first complete the transfer before any loan arrangement can be considered. Until the deal is finalised, discussions over a temporary move to Juventus will remain secondary, even though such an agreement could ultimately suit all parties involved.
