All 20 Série A clubs are plotting how to handle a break of more than 40 days during the 2026 World Cup, mixing extended leave with mid-season camps and friendlies.

According to Globo.com, Corinthians will give the longest rest, 25 days, with the squad due back at CT Joaquim Grava on 25 June. Atlético-MG, Vasco, Palmeiras, Internacional, Bahia, Bragantino and Cruzeiro have granted roughly three weeks off.

Flamengo and Grêmio are preparing mid-season training camps with domestic and international friendlies. Santos are reshaping overseas travel plans because of continental commitments.

Vasco and Chapecoense are focusing on physical recovery as they try to climb out of the relegation zone.

Regional cups wrapped up last weekend, with Vitória in the Copa do Nordeste and Chapecoense in the Copa Sul-Sudeste the last top-flight sides still in action before the hiatus.

The league is expected to resume in the final week of July, with the 19th round scheduled for 22 July, though some fixtures could shift because of continental dates.
