Football League World take a look at how Steel City rivals Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday have priced their 2026/27 season tickets
Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday are both gearing up for the 2026/27 season following very different Championship campaigns.
The Blades' 2-1 victory over the Owls at Bramall Lane in February was enough to relegate Henrik Pedersen's side to League One, thanks to their point deductions.
Wednesday spent the majority of the season in administration thanks to the reckless actions of former owner Dejphon Chansiri, and earned just two league victories.
The Hillsborough outfit were rescued from administration by David Storch's Arise Capital Partners consortium, and beat West Bromwich Albion in their final game of the Championship season, just one day after the takeover was completed.
Meanwhile, the Bramall Lane club began the campaign expecting to launch a promotion bid, having reached the second-tier play-off final in 2025.
However, Sheffield United endured a poor start to the season under former boss Ruben Selles, who was sacked, prompting Chris Wilder's return.
Wilder was unable to make the Blades consistent, and they consequently finished 13th in the Championship table, missing out on a top-half finish by two points.

The Blades and Wednesday are both hoping to enjoy better fortunes next term, a sentiment that will particularly be shared by those of the Owls' persuasion, following their relegation and severe financial worries before Storch's takeover.
Both sets of supporters will be disappointed, to differing degrees, that there will not be a league fixture between the Bramall Lane club and the Hillsborough side next term.
Meanwhile, Football League World has taken a look at how the Steel City rivals' season ticket prices for the upcoming campaign compare.
As detailed by Sheffield United's official website, adult season tickets in the Kop Stand cost £449, with the over-60s and disabled category being priced at £337.
Young adults and students in the same stand will be charged £266, with juniors (aged between two and 17) costing £122.
Meanwhile, in the South Stand, John Street and Family Corner, adult season tickets have been priced at £559, with over-60s and disabled supporters having to pay £367.
The young adults and students category and junior prices for the same area stand at £266 and £131, respectively.
In the Bramall Lane Upper Corner, young adults and student prices remain £266, whereas adults will have to pay £504 for their season tickets.
Season tickets for over-60s and disabled supporters in the Upper Corner have been priced at £352, with prices for juniors standing at £126, and fans in the wheelchair enclosure and specific ambulant area have to pay £241.
Meanwhile, as detailed by Wednesday's official website, renewals in the Kop for adults, under-25s, under-22s, under-18s, under-14s, and concessions cost £415, £335, £250, £170, £90, and £270, respectively.
New season tickets in the Kop have been priced at £440 for adults, £265 for under-22s, £180 for under-18s, £95 for under-14s, and £285 for concessions.
The under-25 category does not apply to those buying new season tickets in any stand at Hillsborough Stadium.
In the North Stand, renewals have been priced at £515 for adults, £410 for under-25s, £315 for under-22s, £180 for under-18s, £100 for under-14s, and £335 for concessions.
New season tickets in the same area of the ground cost £545, £330, £190, £105, and £335 for adults, under-22s, under-18s, under-14s, and concessions, respectively.
Grandstand season ticket renewals in S6 have been priced at £515 for adults, £410 fo under-25s, £315 for under-22s, £75 for under-18s, £23 for under-14s, and £335 for concessions.
New season tickets in the Grandstand cost £545 for adults, £330 for under-22s, £75 for under-18s, £23 for under-14s, and £355 for concessions.
Finally, Wednesday have priced South Stand season ticket renewals at £570, £455, £340, £195, £110, and £370 for adults, under-25s, under-22s, under-18s, under-14s, and concessions, respectively.
New ones in the same stand will cost £600 for adults, £360 for under-22s, £205 for under-18s, £115 for under-14s, and £390 for concessions.

As aforementioned, both Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday will be hoping for greater success next season, after the Blades failed to launch a promotion bid, and the Owls were relegated.
The Hillsborough club will believe that they can compete at the right end of the League One table, now that they know they will not be handed a 15-point deduction or see their weekly player wages capped at £7,000 following their exit from administration.
