France also meet Italy on another busy night in Group A1
Belgium and Turkey are each seeking to bounce back from defeats as they clash in the Nations League tonight.
The Red Devils are beginning a new era under the management of former Netherlands captain Mark van Bommel, who was appointed to succeed Rudi Garcia as head coach in the aftermath of the quarter-final defeat by Spain at the World Cup.
The ex-Antwerp boss got off to a roaring start with an impressive 2-0 win over Italy in Rome that saw Mika Godts register his first senior international goal with Dodi Lukebakio also on target.
Belgium then frustrated a dominant France side missing injured talisman Kylian Mbappe in Brussels, but could not hold on for a valuable point as they were undone by Michael Olise’s late wondergoal.
Back at the King Baudouin Stadium, Van Bommel will be confident of a swift recovery against a Turkey side who continue to struggle under Vincenzo Montella.
Though they also battled hard against France, they lost out 1-0 courtesy of a second-half effort from Mbappe, who injured his knee in the process of scoring.
Turkey were then surprisingly thrashed 4-1 at home by an out-of-form Italy side who had previously still appeared to be suffering a hangover from their failure to qualify for a third successive World Cup and the Andrea Pirlo saga as they got an emphatic first win of Roberto Mancini’s second stint in charge.

Turkey were booed off at half-time by frustrated fans in Bursa, with the pressure continuing to grow on Montella after a hugely disappointing World Cup campaign that saw his side exit at the group stage despite a win over co-hosts the United States.
