The 2025/26 top-flight campaign draws to a close with Arsenal having already sealed a first title for 22 years with a game to spare in midweek, with Mikel Arteta’s side set to lift the trophy after their short trip to face Crystal Palace.

The stakes are enormously higher in both north and east London, where old rivals Tottenham and West Ham remain locked in a fierce fight to avoid a disastrous relegation to the Championship.

Spurs currently have a two-point buffer to the 18th-place Hammers and know that a win at home to Everton will definitely see them safe, while a draw will also be enough because of their vastly superior goal difference.

But a defeat coupled with a West Ham win at home to Leeds would see Tottenham slip into the second tier of English football for the first time since 1977.

The other final-day drama is in the race for Europe, with Chelsea hoping to seal a top-eight finish and provide some form of continental competition for incoming manager Xabi Alonso next term.

Hosts Sunderland are also in the fight along with Brighton and Brentford, who face Manchester United and Liverpool respectively - one team already assured of Champions League qualification under new permanent boss Michael Carrick and the other in a strong position to do so. Newcastle can also still finish eighth as they travel to Fulham.

It’s the end of an era for Manchester City as Pep Guardiola oversees the final game of his 10-year stint in charge at the Etihad Stadium that has included 20 major trophies, with fourth-place Aston Villa the visitors for the occasion.

High-flying Bournemouth are hoping to book a spot in the Champions League in their last game under Andoni Iraola as they travel to face a Nottingham Forest team who are safe from the drop, while Burnley and Wolves contest a battle of two teams whose relegations have long since been confirmed.
