Frankfurt come into the match against Spurs without a win in their last six in all competitions. They are already out of the Champions League having only accumulated four points so far, their most recent result was a 3-1 loss at home to Hoffenheim.
Spurs are on a similar run to the German side having only won one of their last six, but their form in the Champions League has been positive this season. They have not conceded a goal in the competition at home so far and sit fifth in the table going into the final matchday.
Thomas Frank explained that his squad are going to give everything to finish in the top eight of the Champions League.
“I think tomorrow we have a great opportunity to secure a position in the top eight,” he said “That would be a very good result, a very good achievement. We’re very, very positive and looking forward to that. So, that’s what we’re focusing everything we can on.
“The other thing is that I think the performances for a while have been good in many ways, we just haven’t got on the right side enough to get the three points. That’s what we’re working very hard on, sometimes you’re in that spell. The players are giving everything. But for me, tomorrow, it’s all about Frankfurt, all about the opportunity ahead of us.”
